It’s campaigning time again!

I'm a platform-building campaigner badgeThe awesome Rachael Harrie is hosting her next platform building campaign. Hooray!

In case you’ve never heard of Rach or her campaigns, they are “a way to link writers, aspiring authors, beginner bloggers, industry people, and published authors together with the aim of helping to build our online platforms. The Campaigners are all people in a similar position, who genuinely want to pay it forward, make connections and friends within the writing community, and help build each others’ online platforms while at the same time building theirs.”

I’ve got so much out of participating in Rach’s previous campaigns, and I owe many of my blogging connections to Rach and this fabulous idea of hers. If you’d like to know more about my experiences with the campaigns, read this post about what I got out of my first platform-building campaign.

If you’re interested in joining the campaign yourself, do it quickly. Registrations close at 11.59pm EDT today – I’ve only just scraped in myself!

On another note, you may have noticed that I’ve been a little quiet recently. I’ve been quite unwell but I’m getting better by the day and I’m looking forward to being very healthy again soon. This illness has reminded me of how important it is to look after yourself and put your health first, and for me this means scaling back on blogging somewhat. So I’ll be blogging when I have something to say or share – and the time to write the post and still get a good night’s sleep – rather than sticking to a specific schedule. I hope you’ll still enjoy my blog just as much and I look forward to continuing to share my writing and reading experiences with you. 🙂

  1. I have noticed you’ve been quiet – I assumed you were hard at work on your novel! I hope you’re OK!!!

  2. I’m glad to hear you’re feeling better. And the Campaigns are great. I’ve signed up.

  3. I wonder if the campaign will be larger or smaller this time around. It will be interesting to see how many turn out for it.

  4. I’m glad to hear you are feeling better. Have fun with the campaign. I’m not doing it this time, but I’ll probably sign up in August.

  6. It’s good you’re back online Cally. I missed you. Don’t try to drive yourself forward. You are already in front. What you want will follow if you quietly lead the way.

  7. Hey! You’re back in the land of the blogging! So glad you’re getting better. Which campaigner groups are you in? First challenge on Monday!
